Booking Terms and Conditions for Private Hire
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all event and table bookings made with ADG Leisure Limited (trading as Lock 91). By paying your hire fee or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking Confirmation and Payment
- A room hire fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- A guaranteed minimum spend will be agreed upon for all room or full venue bookings.
- No booking is confirmed until the hire fee has been received in full. Dates will not be held or provisionally reserved without payment.
- All hire fees are strictly non-refundable.
2. Minimum Spend Requirement
- The guaranteed minimum spend is not an upfront charge but a target amount that must be achieved through bar and drink purchases made by you and your guests during the event.
- The management team may provide updates on your spend total throughout the evening. If you do not wish to receive updates, please advise the team upon arrival.
- If the guaranteed minimum spend is not met, the outstanding balance will be charged as an additional room hire feeand must be settled in full before leaving the venue.
- Should payment not be made on the night, the card used for the original hire fee will be charged automatically.
- If that payment is declined, an invoice will be issued via email (and by post) for the remaining balance, payable within five (5) working days.
- Failure to pay within this period will result in the outstanding amount being referred to a debt collection agency, and you will be liable for all associated recovery and legal costs.
3. Date Changes and Cancellations
- Bookings may be rescheduled with at least 60 days’ notice, subject to availability of the new date.
- Cancellations made with at least 90 days’ notice will not incur any further charges; however, the hire fee remains non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 90 days of the event date will remain liable for the full guaranteed minimum spend.
4. Age Restrictions and Supervision
- 18th birthday parties must have parents or legal guardians present at all times.
- Any guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian throughout the event.
5. Pricing and Adjustments
- Lock 91 reserves the right to amend hire fees, minimum spend requirements, or pricing at any time prior to a booking being confirmed.
- Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed fees and minimum spend will be honoured for that event date.
6. Liability and Damages
- You are responsible for the behaviour of your guests and any damage caused to the venue, fixtures, fittings, or equipment.
- Any damages, spillages, or misuse of venue property may incur repair or cleaning charges, payable immediately or invoiced within five (5) working days.
- Lock 91 accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.
7. Force Majeure
Lock 91 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including (but not limited to) fire, flood, pandemic, industrial dispute, or government restrictions.
8. Agreement
By paying your hire fee or confirming your booking in writing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
