Lock 91 hosted my 30th birthday party on Saturday evening and they did an amazing job. We rented the attic room and I was so pleased with it. It feels cosy, yet we comfortably had around 80 guests. The staff were so helpful and did everything to make the party as enjoyable as possible. There was a good range of drinks available and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend Lock 91 as a place to host a party.
I used Lock 91 Attic room as a venue for a qualifying party for me becoming a Solicitor. The room was perfect, just the right size, with its own private bar area and toilets. The room is on its own floor and so you have your own private event which was perfect. We had around 60 people but planned for around 90 and it still would have been spacious enough. The bar staff were all lovely, and Jacob the events manager was extremely helpful. I arranged my own DJ, room decor and graze table and the staff allowed me to just get on with setting up with no hassle or restrictions. Will definitely be using Lock 91 in the future for any other events I hold, could not fault it!
Second time we've held a work party here and we'll be back again. Super accomodating - relaxed but professional atmosphere.
I can't say how the food was as we only had a drink. It had a great atmosphere and everyone was pleasant. The toilet was nice and clean but two toilets would have been better as there was a bit of a queue. I'd definitely go back for a meal though.

In a street of trashy nightclubs, this pub is a gem. Old style, spacious, nice ambient music at low volume. Truly great!
fantastic venue, amazingly friendly funny staff and dance classes and music events throughout the year now with outside seating making it even better than the prefect place it already was to go anynight in any season 😃😊
We recently celebrated a surprise 30th at Lock 91 and from first looking round the venue to the party itself all the staff were amazing. They made party planning so easy and kept in touch and helped recommend catering, entertainment and decoration! Bar service was really quick despite being a busy party. We had the terrace downstairs which was lovely overlooking the canal despite the rain. Lots of guests commented on the venue. Would recommend 100% to anyone considering a party here. In addition I’ve been for cocktails previously there in the main bar and would recommend for this also.
I booked this venue for my 50th birthday party in May 2023 & I cannot praise the venue & people enough. From the initial contact, deposit payment & hugely informative email confirmation to the actual event, they were 10/10. The doorman has to be the politest one I have ever met, so many of my guest’s commented on how friendly he was - it must be true. Jacob & the whole bar team do & did an amazing job. Nothing was too much trouble & the whole evening ran seamlessly, so I was fully able to enjoy myself & trust me, I did! Someone who attended my party has already booked for their 40th - which kinda says it all. I had never been in the place before & wasn’t aware it existed but now I do, I will be back & recommending to anyone looking for a fab party or informal wedding venue.

Lovely little venue, was a great evening open till 2am, I was there at a private function. The staff where amazing providing an exceptional service.
