Booking Terms and Conditions for Private Hire

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all event and table bookings made with ADG Leisure Limited (trading as Lock 91). By paying your hire fee or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking Confirmation and Deposit

  • A table reservation fee or deposit may be required to secure your booking; this amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • No booking is confirmed until the required deposit has been paid in full. Dates and times cannot be held provisionally.
  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • Deposits may, at management’s discretion, be redeemable against your bar spend on the night.

2. Minimum Spend (if applicable)

  • Some table bookings are subject to a minimum spend requirement, which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
  • The minimum spend must be achieved through drink purchases by you and your guests during your allocated booking time.
  • Any shortfall in the minimum spend must be settled in full before leaving the venue.
  • Post-event invoicing is not permitted. All balances must be paid on the night of your booking.
  • If the payment card used to secure the booking is declined, an invoice for the remaining balance will be issued and must be paid within five (5) working days, after which the debt may be referred to a collection agency, and additional costs may apply.

3. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability and management approval.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking, or failure to attend, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and liability for any agreed minimum spend.

4. Arrival and Duration

  • All guests are expected to arrive promptly for their reservation time.
  • Tables will be held for a maximum of 20 minutes after the booked time before being released to other guests.
  • Management may apply time limits to table bookings during busy periods.

5. Conduct and Safety

  • The lead booker is responsible for the behaviour and conduct of all guests in their party.
  • Lock 91 operates a strict no-drugs policy and reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone appearing intoxicated, aggressive, or engaging in antisocial behaviour.
  • Outside food or drinks are not permitted unless agreed in writing by management.
  • Any damage or spillages caused by guests will incur a cleaning or repair fee, payable immediately.
  • The management team reserves the right to remove guests or terminate service if behaviour poses a risk to staff, property, or other patrons.

6. Age Restrictions

  • All guests must be 18 years of age or older and may be required to provide valid photo ID on entry.
  • For private or family-style bookings involving under-18s, advance written approval must be obtained from management, and a parent or legal guardian must be present at all times.

7. Marketing and Media Consent

  • During service, Lock 91 or its representatives may capture photos or videos for marketing, social media, or promotional use.
  • By attending your booking, you consent to the use of such images or footage, which may include you or your guests, for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.
  • If you or any guest do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, please inform the duty manager or photographer at the start of your visit, and your preference will be respected in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

8. Liability

  • Lock 91 accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises.
  • You are liable for any damage caused to furniture, fixtures, or equipment by you or your guests.

9. Force Majeure

Lock 91 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including (but not limited to) fire, flood, pandemic, industrial dispute, or government restrictions.

10. Agreement

By confirming your booking or paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
